How to Choose a LiFePO4 Battery Voltage: 12V, 24V or 48V

Voltage is the first architectural choice in a LiFePO4 system, and it is decided by the system, not by the battery alone. A 12V architecture fits small backup, lighting, golf-cart and RV house-bank jobs in the listed range; a 24V architecture fits mid-size home storage in the range description; and a 48V architecture at 51.2V nominal is described as the mainstream choice for current solar installations and the standard choice for whole-home solar at 200Ah to 400Ah.

No founding year, headcount, phone or named contact is published on this site: those records conflict between sources and are not settled. Contact goes through the inquiry form.

The 12V, 24V and 48V family pages carry the voltage detail, and this page links to them; this guide adds the system-side choice, not a second copy of the family detail.

Choosing by system, not by pack

Start from the inverter and the load. An inverter built for 12V takes a 12V bank; one built for 48V takes a 48V bank, and no battery page on this site can change that. Then check the current: the same power at 12V needs four times the current it needs at 48V, which is why larger home systems cluster at 48V while smaller mobile and backup jobs stay at 12V. That current relationship is general electrical reasoning applied to the listed voltages, not a model specification.

Capacity bands follow the same logic. The 12V family on this site runs from 6Ah to 300Ah with full tables; the 24V band is described as 100Ah to 230Ah in the range; and the 48V band runs from 100Ah models with full tables to 400Ah units as listed. Match the band to the system first, then choose a model inside it. Before payment, confirm MOQ, lead time, voltage, warranty and certification scope for your order.
